The Bismarck/Mandan CEC Chapter #341 invites you to theNDCEC ConferenceJanuary 28th- 30th, 2010 Register by December 15th and your name will be entered into a drawing for the Presidential Suite at the 7 Seas. The Presidential Suite includes a Jacuzzi, three separate rooms, a fireplace, and a plasma television. Bismarck/Mandan CEC Chapter #341 is hosting our conference for January 29th and 30th at the Seven Seas Motor Inn where you can DREAM UP some new ideas for your classroom and TEAM UP with educators from across the state. DREAM UPall the possibilities for professional development. Listen to National speakers from the University of Florida like George Batsche, speaking on RTI, and Don Kincaid speaking on Positive Behavior Support (PBS). Deb Silver will be returning as our motivational speaker to share the Art and Heart of Teaching. Part of our DREAM is changing the format of State Conference by offering 9 different strands or topics and by replacing the banquet with a social.
The principal purpose of this organization shall be to advance the welfare and education of exceptional children and youth. - Article II, Constitution and Bylaws of the North Dakota Federation for Exceptional Children.
The Council for Exceptional Children is the standard bearer of the special education profession. CECs mission is to advance the education of individuals with exceptionalities and to improve the practices and resources of persons working on behalf of individuals with exceptionalities throughout the world.
